The living area
Featuring a custom marble table, Cassina chairs, a Viabizzuno chandelier, and a Xilia bookcase. Sliding doors in the Japo model by ADL, with a Japanese touch matching the tones of the coffered ceiling.
The design of this mountain house envelope was born out of a constant dialogue with the surrounding nature. There are entire perimeter glass walls that leave the view wide open, allowing light and the forest to enter the interiors. The internal layout features dark macro volumes "split" by these windows. The spaces are airy but also very private, a swing door distinctly separates the living area from the sleeping area, which can disappear if desired. The living area includes two living rooms, one larger with a dining room, the other more compact.
The smaller living room with the Noonu sofa by Antonio Citterio for B&B Italia, Jove and Liquid coffee tables by Baxter, and the System-X wall unit by Xilia, in Frassino Carbone finish, consisting of a TV compartment, wardrobes, and custom-made elements.
The kitchen Genius loci by Valcucine is paired with the Ventura stools by Jean-Marie Massaud for Poliform. Ceiling with typical light wood coffered panels. Sliding doors model Japo by ADL, Japanese influence matching the tones of the coffered ceiling done by a local artisan.
The glimpse of dark wood walls separating the different rooms. A swing door by Xilia clearly separates and conceals the living area from the sleeping area. The light oak parquet flooring contrasts with the dark walls.
